Shopify theme
Coming soonMillwright
A trade and industrial theme with a quick order list and volume pricing that most Theme Store themes do not have.
Pricing set at Theme Store launch
Millwright is the current name candidate for the theme, and the five preset names below are candidates too. Theme and preset names have to be unique across the whole Theme Store, and availability is re-checked immediately before submission, so any of them can still change. The theme itself does not.
It is built on Shopify's Skeleton Theme, the only approved starting codebase, and is aimed at trade, industrial, and business to business merchants with large catalogs.
Two features carry it. The quick order list lets a buyer type SKUs and quantities without walking through product pages. Volume pricing and quantity rules read what the variant already carries, so a catalog sold by the box of 50 or the drum behaves like one.
Five presets, five demo stores
| Preset | Built for |
|---|---|
| Girder | Industrial supply |
| Manifold | Auto parts |
| Trestle | Office and business supply |
| Rafter | Trade services |
| Conduit | Electrical and plumbing |
Each preset changes the color schemes, the type pairing, the home page section order, the product card density, and which sections are on. The architecture underneath is the same, so switching preset does not mean rebuilding the store. Girder is the preset the listing leads with.
Before you edit theme code
Back up your theme before editing any code. In the Shopify admin, open Online Store, Themes, then use the Actions menu on the theme to duplicate it, and edit the duplicate. Code changes cannot be undone from inside the theme editor.
Customization services are not included in the theme cost. Any paid customization work is arranged separately and is not covered by the theme price or by theme support.
Features
What it does
- Quick order list
- Order by SKU across a long catalog without visiting a product page for each line, which very few Theme Store themes support.
- Volume pricing and quantity rules
- Reads the variant's own quantity price breaks and quantity rules, so minimums, increments, and price ladders show up where the shopper decides.
- Specification table section
- A metafield driven spec table section with metafield rows and text rows, for catalogs where dimensions and cross references are the product.
- Five presets
- Girder, Manifold, Trestle, Rafter, and Conduit, each with its own color schemes, type pairing, and home page order.
- Sections that degrade
- Variant selection re-requests the section through the Section Rendering API rather than recalculating prices in the browser, and falls back to a plain select without JavaScript.
- Crawlable catalogs
- Numbered pagination links stay in the document in every pagination mode, including infinite scroll.
