What changed, and when

Two more Shopify apps started, both aimed at gaps Shopify left open this year.

• Discount Rules: Scripts Replacer. Shopify Scripts was switched off on June 30, 2026. This is a single Shopify Function fed by a rule table, so tiered discounts, buy one get one, gift with purchase, customer tag pricing, and shipping rules all come back in one place and cost one of the 25 automatic discount slots.
• Volume Discounts Tiered Pricing. Shopify's native quantity price breaks only apply to B2B company accounts. This app applies the same idea to guests and ordinary logged in customers, with CSV import for large catalogs and a tier table block for the product page.

Both are on their free plans first, and both are documented on this site before they reach the App Store.

The Batten site is live, with product pages, documentation, and a support form.

• Product pages for the five products in progress: Spec Tables, Size Chart, Discount Rules, Volume Discounts Tiered Pricing, and the trade theme.
• Documentation for each product: getting started, a settings reference, and an FAQ, plus a presets guide for the theme.
• A support form with a two business day reply commitment and an automatic acknowledgment.
• Privacy, terms, and refund policies.

Three changes, all of them corrections to what this site said rather than to what the products do.

• The four Shopify apps carry the Batten name. Batten Spec Tables, Batten Size Chart, Batten Discount Rules, and Batten Volume Discounts. App Store names have to lead with a distinctive brand identifier rather than a category description, so the old names went. Every page, docs folder, and link on this site moved with them.
• Pricing now matches the submissions exactly. Two real corrections came out of that. Batten Discount Rules caps rules at twelve on both Pro and Plus, because that is the largest set a discount Function can evaluate inside its instruction budget on an ordinary cart, and advertising more would be selling a discount that silently fails. Batten Size Chart's centimeter and inch toggle is on the free plan, because the storefront cannot gate it and charging for it would be false advertising.
• Batten Members, a membership plugin for Framer. Magic link sign in, gated pages and sections, four styled code components, and a members list. Free for one gated page and twenty five members, Pro for unlimited. It is documented here before it reaches the marketplace, roadmap and known limits included.
• The trade theme is now Millwright, with presets Girder, Manifold, Trestle, Rafter, and Conduit. Theme Store names have to be unique across every listed theme and preset, so these stay candidates until submission.
• The privacy policy says what each product actually stores. App by app: what leaves your store, what does not, which apps read anything about a shopper and where that evaluation happens, and what the compliance webhooks delete. The Batten Members section says plainly that revoking a member and uninstalling the plugin delete nothing, and that deletion happens when you ask for it.
