Shopify's native quantity price breaks apply only to B2B company accounts. If you want a guest or an ordinary logged in customer to see a better unit price at 10, 25, 50, or 100 units, you still need an app.
Batten Volume Discounts is a Shopify Function that applies quantity tiers per line or across every variant of a product, plus two theme editor blocks that show the shopper what the ladder is before they add to cart.
Import once, price everywhere
Tier sets are edited one at a time or imported from CSV across thousands of SKUs. The import validates every row, shows a preview, and reports errors before a single price is written.
The table and the discount agree
The price table is not a separate list you keep in step by hand. It is written from the tier set's own scope, so a product that leaves the scope loses the table, and a set that is disabled or deleted takes its tables with it. What the product page advertises is what checkout applies.
The free companion to the trade theme
A Shopify theme cannot ship discount logic of its own. This app is the piece that makes the trade theme's quick order list and quantity rules add up to a real trade storefront, and the free plan is enough to prove it on a live store.
Billing runs through Shopify App Pricing, so plans are created and charged by Shopify against your existing store bill.

What it does
- One ladder, applied everywhere
- Set one ladder of quantity breaks and Shopify applies it in the cart, at checkout, on draft orders, and in the Shop app. Take a percentage off or set a fixed unit price at each break.
- Scope that matches the catalog
- Scope a set to every product, a list of products, collections, a product tag, or a vendor.
- Aggregate across variants
- Turn aggregation on so ten of one size plus fifteen of another reach the twenty five break. Aggregation never crosses products.
- CSV bulk import
- Paste or upload a CSV of handles or SKUs with minimum quantities and either a percentage or a unit price, with a validated preview and an error report before anything is written.
- Price table block
- A theme editor block that shows the applicable breaks on the product page and highlights the current tier as quantity changes. It renders in Liquid, so it is there on first paint.
- Cart savings notice
- Shows how many more units unlock the next break, in cart drawers and on the cart page.
